Traffic Citation Application Modernization

A Clarion Application was modernized using Delphi.

The main database application and mobile apps were made using Delphi.

Industry

Used by law enforcement, private parking lots, large private buildings with valet and parking wardens.

Customer needed a database with row-level and record-level encryption. The customer choose Interbase.

Customer needed a multi-user file-server database, where there may be updates from remote users via 4G.

After initial proposal, the application was upgraded from Clarion Top-Speed Database.
Delphi x64 bit application was developed.
Delphi Android app developed later on.

Clarion TPS to Interbase conversion. All data needed to be imported. Clarion TPS tables. Names such as José has to be correctly encoded to Unicode.
Reports upgrading from Clarion to Fast-Reports, so customers can edit and modify the database as they choose, without developer intervention.
Ability to update data over-the-wire from mobile devices to cloud.
